Lucas Paul Lead Vocals/Guitar/Piano/Harmonica

Lucas Paul

Lucas Paul has been classically trained on the guitar and piano since he was wearing Scooby Doo underpants. There is no proof that he still doesn't wear those, but an esoteric lot could tell you. After Lucas finished his instrumental album 'In Between' in 2002, he decided to start working on his mad vocal skills. His father, being a guitar player/singer, told him his vocals need to become his best instrument... "the rest will fall into place." Lucas took that advice and starting writing. His style changed considerably during this period of transition, being influenced by such bands as The Dave Matthews Band and The Beatles. The result was the album 'Fences' (2005). Since then, Lucas has hooked up with Donny Brown of The Verve Pipe to produce a few new tracks. The results were 'Half the Time' and 'Without a Sound', which will be part of the new album released in early 2007.

Jacob Chmara Bass Guitar/Vocals

Jacob Chmara

Formerly of the Ann Arbor jam band Smokestack, Jacob has been playing bass for many years and has had the opportunity to play in a wide variety of musical settings. Most recently, Jacob has been playing with local Ann Arbor/Detroit luminaries such as the Latin-Jazz groups Tumbao (with Paul Vornhagen and Alberto Nacif) and Los Gatos (Pete Siers, Brian DiBlassio et al), folk singer/songwriter extraordinaire Whit Hill, Jazz/Pop singer/flutist Tracy Cash Thomas and Local guitar god Laith Al-Saadi. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in music performance from the University of Michigan and teaches private lessons on both guitar and saxophone.

Dan Eichinger Drums/Vocals

Dan Eichinger

Most recognized for his drumming in the now disbanded group Smokestack, Dan has been playing drums with various musical conglomerations in the Ann Arbor / Detroit area for nearly seven years. He grew up on a heave dose of Jazz but then discovered Gospel music and became involved in Detroit's Gospel/R&B scene, from where he draws much of his current inspiration. Although privileged to play alongside many talented artists, Dan has a soft spot for pop and alternative music (most notably Dave Matthews Band and Counting Crows) and enjoys laying a solid groove under strong rhythms, harmonies and catchy song writing of THE LUCAS PAUL BAND. Always a huge fan of Carter Beauford's drumming, one of Dan's dreams has always been to play 'Grey Street' with someone who can actually pull off Dave Matthews. Now those dreams have become a nightly reality with The LPB.

Kris Kurzawa Lead Guitar/Vocals
